#11 Grand Valley State completed a four-game series sweep over Roosevelt Sunday (April 13) with a 9-6 GLIAC win. The Lakers are now 28-9 overall and 11-5 in GLIAC action. GVSU will host Northwood Tuesday (April 15) at 3 p.m.

Evan Morrison single and scored on a Gulbrandsen double.Â

Roosevelt scored four unearned runs in the top of the fifth to pull within a run (7-6), but the Lakers scored a pair in the bottom of the sixth. Gulbrandsen was hit by a pitch to open the frame, scored on a two-out triple by Thelen and RF
Ryan Stimac plated Thelen with a single to left center.Â

Gulbrandsen was 3-4 with three RBI and three runs scored, while Thelen was 2-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Guciardo was 3-5, Morrison 2-5, and Estrada was 2-4.Â
