ALLENDALE, Mich. – Earlier today, the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and ield Committee announced the final participants for the 2025 NCAA DII Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships. This year's championships will be run from Thursday, March 13 to Saturday, March 15 at the Fall Creek Pavillion at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. It will be the first time the indoor championships are held in Indy; both championships are held simultaneously.
A total of 540 participants, 270 men and 270 women, will compete in Indianapolis. For each individual event, the top 18 declared student-athletes, and the top 12 declared relay teams were accepted.
Grand Valley's track and field programs have a total of 36 individual entries and three relay teams. The women's squad has 16 individual athletes competing, as well as the 4x400 and distance medley relay squads. The men's team has 20 individual entries in addition to the men's distance medley relay.

Five Laker ladies will compete in multiple events at the national championships.
Lauren Kiley and
Maria Mitchell lead the team with three events (two individual, one relay).
Alaina Diaz,
Natalie Graber and
Catherine Guckenberger will all compete in two events. Kiley will compete in the women's 5000m, 3000m and DMR events; Mitchell will race in the 1 mile, 3000m and DMR; Diaz competes in long jump and women's 4x400m relay; Graber sees action in the 3000m and DMR and Guckenberger will compete in both women's relays.
Five men will also see action in more than one event, four of which will compete in an individual event and the DMR.
Koby Fraaza competes as an individual in the men's 3000m before he anchors the men's DMR.
Myles Rhodes races in the 200m and will run the second leg in the relay.
Scott Spaanstra will run the 800m as an individual and in the DMR, and
Owen Westerkamp will lead the DMR after competing in the men's 1 mile.
Myles Kerner is the only Laker on the men's team competing in two individual events; he represents GVSU in weight throw and shot put.
Several Lakers are seeded in the top five of their respective events headed into championships.

Natalie Graber are seeded second and fourth in the women's 3000m event with entry times of 9:13.90 and 9:17.37 respectively. The women's distance medley squad is also ranked in the top five, grabbing the number three seed with Kiley, Guckenberger, Mitchell and Graber claiming legs.
Kaylee Diamond has sole possession of the one seed in women's high jump with a 1.80m (5-10.75) mark that she cleared this past weekend at the 2025 GLIAC Championships.
Erika Beistle also claims the one seed in shot put with a school-record 17.20m (56-5) throw.
The men's high jump squad claims the majority of top five appearances for GVSU, claiming four of the top five spots in the event.
Eli Kosiba and
Marcus Gelpi grabbed the one and two seeds with entry marks of 2.30m (7-6.5) and 2.21m (7-3) respectively.
Jaivon Harrison and
Jonathan Rankins-James enter competition at fourth and fifth with a matching mark at 2.20m (7-2.5).
Myles Kerner is the sole Laker to compete in men's shot put, grabbing the one seed with a 19.72m (64-8.25) throw. James MacKey Jr. comes in at number five in weight throw with a 20.52m (67-3.75) mark.
