Grand Valley State completed a four-game sweep over #5 Indianapolis with two more wins Sunday, claiming game one 13-6, followed by a 6-2 in game two Sunday. The Lakers improve to 8-2, while the Greyhounds fall to 5-6. GVSU will head to Florida for a six-game schedule that will begin Wednesday with two 9-inning games. The Lakers will face Ashland at 12 noon, followed by a game versus Shorter at 3:30 p.m. All six games will be played at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida.

Grand Valley State added three more in the top of the fourth on four hits. Morrison plated one run with a single, Dykstra recorded an RBI double and Gill plated Morrison with a groundout. CF
Ayden VanEnkevort doubled home
Brendan Guciardo who opened the fifth with a single and GVSU pushed across three more runs in the top of the seventh on three hits. Dykstra plated two runs with his third double of the game and Morrison scored on a wild pitch.
Collin Bradley improved to 2-0 on the year, yielding two runs on five hits with two strikeouts. Morrison was 2-2 with four runs scored and three walks, while Dykstra was 3-4 with three doubles, four RBI and two runs scored. Gill was 1-3 with four RBI and a home run. VanEnkevort and C

Game 2
GVSU scored two in the top of the first on three hits. Gill singled to left with two outs and Gulbrandsen homered to left to give the Lakers a 2-0 lead. Indianapolis scored in the bottom of the second, but Gill homered to right center to up the Lakers lead to 3-1 in the fifth. Gulbrandsen plated Dykstra, who doubled with two outs, with a single to right to give GVSU a 4-2 lead. Grand Valley State added a pair of insurance runs in the top of the ninth. Warren reached base on a fielder's choice and went to third on a double off the bat of Morrison. Dykstra followed with a 2-RBI single to close out the scoring.
Freshman
Sebastian Talaga picked up the win in relief and improved to 2-0. He yielded one run on two hits with three strikeouts in 6.0 innings. Freshman
Ty Randall picked up the first save in his career, working 2.0 innings with three strikeouts.
Gulbrandsen was 3-5 with three RBI and home run, while Dykstra was 2-5 with a double and two RBI. Gill was 2-3 with one RBI, a home run and was intentionally walked. 3B
