ALLENDALE, Mich. – Grand Valley State track & field has released their schedule for the 2025 outdoor season. The Lakers will be on the road for the majority of the season, aside from four home meets and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships, which will be hosted on home turf. 
 
Both squads will kick off their outdoor season this weekend, March 22, with the Polar Bear Classic at Indiana Wesleyan. They will continue to compete on the road in several states and cities until their home opener on Friday, April 4. The GVSU Early Meet will span two days and will take place at GVSU's Lacrosse/Track & Field Stadium.
 
Other home meets include the GVSU Al Owens Classic (April 18-19), the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet (April 26) and the GVSU Saturday Last Chance Meet (May 10). The Lakers will also host the 2025 GLIAC Outdoor Championships spanning from Wednesday, April 30 through Friday, May 2.
