Rylie Bisballe Named D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year

ALLENDALE, MICH. – Already a two-time GLIAC Player of the Year, senior Rylie Bisballe continues to add to her incredible career, earning 2025 D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year.
 
A First-Team All-Region selection last year, Bisballe earned Player of the Year honors this season after helping lead GVSU to a 32-2 record, the GLIAC regular season and tournament titles, and the top seed in the region. She led the team by averaging 13.5 points and 5.6 rebounds, shooting 50.7% from the floor. The league's Defensive Player of the Year posted 71 assists, 58 steals, and 26 blocks. She surpassed 1,500 career points earlier this season and moved into the top five in program history in both made field goals (628) and rebounds (888). Bisballe recorded four double-doubles on the season and scored in double-figures in 28 games this season, topping 20 points three times. She did all of this despite only averaging 21.9 minutes player per game.
