Grand Valley State (6-2) claimed a 4-1 victory over #5 Indianapolis (5-4) Saturday afternoon. The final two games of the four-game series will be played Sunday, Mar. 2 beginning at 12 noon. 

The Lakers opened the top of the second with singles off the bats of DH Brendan Guciardo, 3B Caleb Estrada and CF Ayden VanEnkevort, but were only able to push one run across. GVSU took a 2-1 lead on a Ryan Dykstra solo home run to right in the top of the third and extended the lead to 3-1 with a Zach Warren solo home run to open the fifth. The Lakers added an insurance run in the top of the seventh when Dykstra and 1B Jovan Gill walked to open the inning. RF Jonas Gulbrandsen singled and VanEnkevort plated Gill with an infield hit. 
 
Senior RHP Jayden Dentler picked up the win (2-0), yielding one run on seven hits with two strikeouts. Allan Thorington picked up his second save of the year, giving up one hit and striking out one in 2.0 innings. 
 
LF Ryan Dykstra and 2B Zach Warren each hit a solo home run, while CF Ayden VanEnkevort was 2-5 with and RBI. C Brendan Guciardo was 2-5 with a run scored and a double, while 3B Caleb Estrada was 2-4 with a double.
