Complete Results
The Grand Valley State men's and women's track & field teams dominated the competition at the 2024 GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships held on the GVSU campus. The Laker women claimed their 24 consecutive GLIAC Outdoor Championship with 245.5 points, well ahead of Saginaw Valley State's 147 points. The GVSU men captured their 17th league title overall, 9th-of-the-last-10 and six consecutive with a score of 319 points. Saginaw Valley State was second with 151 points.
Men
100 Meters –
Antonio Passarelli finished fourth with a time of 10.50.
200 Meters -
Andrew Pizzico finished third with a time of 21.39, while
Henry Kennedy finished sixth (22.07)
400 Meters – The Lakers went 1-2-3 with
Myles Rhodes claimed the
GLIAC crown with a time of 46.98,
Zach Pray crossed second (47.56) and
Dominik Balenda third (48.53).
800 Meters –
Patrick Lyell finished first in a time 1:51.14, followed by
Scott Spaanstra in fifth (1:51.72).
1500 –
Caleb Futter claimed another GLIAC crown with a first-place finish (3:54.17),
Cal Yackin crossed fourth (3:55.56) and
Gabriel Connelly finished sixth (3:58.19).
5000 Meters –
Daniel Lambert was impressive and crossed the finish line first in a time of 14:30.94.
Ryan Ruppert crossed fifth (14:47.92) and
Drennan Akins sixth (14:51.68).
10,000 Meters – Joe Rinke crossed the finish line fourth in a time of 31:15.22, followed by
Colin Kachlic in sixth (31:20.63) and
Colin Hanson in eighth (32:05.93).
110 Hurdles –
Joshua Hurt led a 1-2-3 GVSU finish with a first-place finishing time of 14:28, with
Ethan Smith crossing second (14:31) and
Steven Harris third (14:96).
400 Hurdles –
Fallou Gaye crossed the finish line first in a time 53.72, while
Lance Riddle was third (53.96).
4x100 Relay – The relay team of
