Box Score BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Valley State women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision Saturday (Mar. 30) afternoon on the road. The Lakers fall to 8-7 on the season.
 
Ferris State claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles. Vasileia Griva and Rachel Sam tallied a 7-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Taylor Barrett and Neus Ramos dropped a 4-6 decision at the top doubles position. Estefania Hernandez and Vale Mozas fell 2-6 at No. 3 doubles.
 
In singles action, Neus Ramos claimed a 6-2, 6-0 straight set win at No. 4 singles. Vale Mozas tallied a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles. Estefania Hernandez posted a 6-2, 6-2 straight set win at No. 6 singles. Vasileia Griva dropped a 3-6, 3-6 decision at the top singles position. Taylor Barrett fell 6-7, 4-6 at No. 2 singles, while Rachel Sam lost 3-6, 6-7 at No. 3 singles.
 
The Lakers will be back on the court on April 12^th when they travel to face Wayne State. First serve is set for 10:00 AM in Detroit.
