Grand Valley State dropped a non conference doubleheader at Seton Hill (12-5) Saturday afternoon, falling in game one 6-2 and game two 7-3. Grand Valley State will open GLIAC action next Saturday versus Saginaw Valley State at Wisconsin Parkside.

Ryan Dykstra each collected two hits, while CF
Kyle Nott, Graybill, DH Connor McCormack and Natan Logan each tallied a hit.

Mike Morawski was tagged with the loss, yielding six hits and five runs, four of which were earned, with two strikeouts and three walks.
Sam Leck went the final 3.2 innings, giving up three hits and one run, with three strikeouts.
Game 2 - Seton Hill scored three runs in the bottom of the first, but GVSU struck back in the top of the second for two runs. Graybill walked and scored on a Logan double to right center. 1B
Jake Rydquist then singled home Logan to pull the Lakers within one (3-2). The Griffins scored a run in the bottom of the second and then niether team scored until the bottom of the seventh when Seton Hills pushed across a run. The Lakers scored a single run in the eighth when Schuman reached on an error, advanced to third on a Logan single and scored on a
Brendan Guciardo sac fly.
Michael Riley was solid in his start, yielding four runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and just one walk.
Ayden VanEnkevort allowed one run and struck out three in his only innings, while
Will Goebel allowed two runs on two hits with two strikeouts. Dykstra, Logan and Rydquist each collected two hits, while Nott and Anderson each recorded a hit.
