Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio – The Grand Valley State women's tennis team fell 4-3 at Tiffin Friday (Feb. 9) afternoon. The Lakers fall to 2-2 on the season. 
 
Tiffin claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Estefania Hernande and Vale Mozas tallied a 7-6 win at No. 3 doubles. Taylor Barrett and Neus Ramos dropped a tough 3-6 decision at No.1 doubles. Vasileia Griva and Rachel Sam fell 2-6 at No. 2 doubles.
 
On the singles side, Vasileia Griva claimed a 7-6, 4-6, 6-1 three-set victory at the top singles position. Anna Soteras earned a 6-2, 6-4 straight set victory at No. 5 singles. Estefania Hernandez tallied a 6-2, 7-6 straight set win at No. 6 singles. Neus Ramos lost a tough 3-6, 6-2, 2-6 three-set decision at No. 4 singles. Taylor Barrett dropped a tough 3-6, 1-6 decision at No. 2 singles. Rachel Sam fell 3-6, 1-6 at No. 3 singles. 
 
The Lakers will conclude this weekend's road trip in Findlay, Ohio tomorrow (Feb. 10) when they face Findlay. First serve is set for 4:00 PM.
