Lockhart is now the third Grand Valley State track and field athlete to be inducted into the USTFCCCA Hall of Fame.

Lockhart competed for the Lakers from 2009 to 2013, as she was apart of the dominant throws crew, partaking in every event. Upon graduation from Grand Valley in 2013, Lockhart had collected five individual NCAA titles, five runner-up finishes and was a 13x All-American. Additionally, Lockhart was a member of the team when the Lakers brought home their first track and field National Championship title in 2011, capturing both the indoor and outdoor crowns. History repeated itself when the Lakers swept the NCAA National Championships again in 2012.

Lockhart's time at Grand Valley was nothing short of a success between 2012-2013, as she claimed four NCAA titles in 2013 alone. At the 2013 indoor Championships, she swept the throws events bringing home the title in the women's shot put and weight throw. During the outdoor season, Lockhart was just shy of a triple crown, as she earned the NCAA title in the women's shot put and discus throw but fell short in the hammer throw. Lockhart's first individual NCAA title was in 2012 in the weight throw.

Currently, Lockhart holds the Grand Valley State indoor record for the women's shot put (16.86m) and weight throw (21.50m) as well as the outdoor record for the women's shot put (16.80m) and discus throw (58.87m). Additionally, Lockhart's discus throw of 58.87m is the current Grand Valley State Stadium record.
