Box Score FINDLAY, Ohio – The Grand Valley State women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Findlay Saturday (Feb. 10) evening. The Lakers fall to 2-3 on the season. 
 
Findlay claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Taylor Barrett and Neus Ramos claimed a 6-2 victory at the top doubles position. Vasileia Griva and Rachel Sam dropped a tough 5-7 decision at No. 2 doubles. Estefania Hernandez and Valentina Mozas lost a touhh 3-6 decision at No. 3 doubles. 
 
On the singles side, Anna Soteras claimed a 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 three-set win at No. 5 singles. Estefania Hernandez rallied to a 1-6, 6-2, 11-9 three-set victory at No. 6 singles. Neus Ramos dropped a tough 0-6, 6-4, 1-6 three-set decision at No. 4 singles. Vasileia Griva dropped a tough 1-6, 3-6 decision at the top singles position. Taylor Barrett fell 3-6, 4-6 at No. 2 singles, and Rachel Sam lost a tough 6-1, 2-6, 4-6 three-set match at No. 3 singles. 
 
The Lakers will return home for their first home match of the spring season next week on Friday (Feb. 16). First serve is set for 12:00 PM at Premier Athletic and Tennis Club.
