East Lansing- Grand Valley State headed to Michigan State for the MSU Open. This was an individual open so no team scores were kept during this tournament.
There were multiple teams ranging from Division I to Division II.
Carter Blough had an impressive showing in the 285-pound weight class, securing a third-place finish. He began the day with a bye, then went on to dominate his first match with an 8-2 decision victory. Blough continued his strong performance, winning by fall. After a tough loss in the semifinals, he won every match in the consolation bracket to claim third place overall.
