BIG RAPIDS, MICH. – The GVSU women's volleyball saw their 13-game winning streak come to an end at the hands of second-ranked Ferris State. The Bulldogs defeated the Lakers for the second time this season, beating them in straight sets.
Ferris State won the three sets 25-19, 25-22, and 25-15.
Kendall Stover led the team with eight kills, adding six digs.
Jordyn Gates totaled seven kills, 13 assists, and eight digs, while
Brianna Stawski also had seven kills.
Meghan O'Sullivan dished out 15 assists and
Julia Blaney added 15 digs.
The Lakers are back home next weekend taking on SVSU and LSSU.
