The 16^th-ranked Grand Valley State grapplers will compete at the NCAA Super Region 3 duals Saturday (Jan. 13) at Tiffin University. The Lakers will face Thomas More at 10 am, Davenport at 12 pm and #5 Lake Erie College at 2 p.m.
 
The Lakers have four wrestlers that are ranked nationally and seven that entered the regional ledger. Freshman Aaron Lucio (125/8-6) is first regionally and eighth nationally, while fellow freshman Collin Twigg(133/12-6) is sixth regionally. Sophomore Chris Donathan (149/15-0) is first regionally and third nationally, freshman Trammel Robinson (165/18-7) is third regionally, sophomore Josh Kenny (174/15-3) is first regionally and third nationally. Senior Seth Konynenbelt (184/14-8) is fourth regionally and sophomore Wyatt Miller (197/14-2) is first regionally and 12th nationally. 
 
#5 Lake Erie College will send five wrestlers to the circle, highlighted by top-ranked James Penfold at 174 and #4 Christian Small at 149. Corey Gamet is #10 at 141, Ryan Wehner is #11 at 133, and Jack Haskin is #3 at 157.
