Grand Valley State scored early and often en route to a 15-4 GLIAC road win at Purdue Northwest. GVSU won 3-of-4 in the weekend series and improved to 26-12 overall and 13-8 in GLIAC action. In addition, the Lakers went 4-1 last week in regional action. 

Ten Laker recorded a hit, nine scored a run and eight recorded an RBI in the Sunday win. As a team GVSU collected 19 hits. LF Kyle Nott led off the game with a walk, stole second base, moved to third on a fly out to right and stole home. GVSU added four runs in the top of the second on doubles by 3B Jake Rydquist and 1B Logan Anderson, followed by a 2-run home run to right by Nott. GVSU added a single run in the third and four more in the fourth to break the game open. GVSU tallied 19 hits on the day, including three doubles, a triple and two home runs. 

Michael Morawski improved to 3-0 on the year with the win, yielding one run on five hits with three strikeouts in five innings of work. Alan Thorington pitched three innings and Brendan Pierce closed out the win in the ninth.
