SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Grand Valley State men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at #3 Saint Leo Thursday (March 9). The Lakers fall to 8-3 on the season, while Saint Leo improves to 10-0.
 
Saint Leo claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Unai Gonzalez and Sean Miller claimed a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Gonzalez and Miller improved to 7-2 as a pair all from the No. 1 position. On the singles side, Ignacio Morera-Lucas earned a 6-0, 6-7, 10-7 three set win at No. 6 singles. 
 
The Lakers will close out their spring trip in the sunshine state tomorrow (March 10) when they travel to Lakeland, Florida for a dual match against Florida Southern. First serve is slated for 10:00 AM.
