DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Grand Valley State men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Embry-Riddle Monday (March 6) in the first of three games in the Florida. The Lakers drop to 8-2 on the season.
Embry-Riddle claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
Jack Dausman and
Freddy Cossio claimed a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles for their seventh win as a pair this season. On the singles side,
Unai Gonzalez tallied a 6-4, 7-5 straight set win at No. 1 singles.
The Lakers will be back in action on Thursday (March 9) when they travel to Saint Leo, FL for a match against Saint Leo at 3:00 PM.
