GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – The Grand Valley men's golf team played in the DU Tri-Match against Davenport and Ferris State this afternoon, and despite only playing one round, the Lakers still won the event by 12 strokes.
Drew Coble came away with the individual win, shooting a two under, claiming his second win of the season.
The Lakers carded a 284 for the event, coming in at four over, 12 strokes ahead of second place Davenport, who shot a 296. Ferris State was third, with a score of 298.
Coble picked up the win, tallying a 68 (-2) for the match, earning the second win of his career.
Charles DeLong was tied for second, carding a 70 (E).
Charlie Cooley was +2 for the event, carding a 72 and came in fourth place.
Nick Krueger and
Alex Jordan were both tied for sixth, as they recorded rounds of 74 (+4).
Murphy Kehoe was two strokes back of them in a tie for 16
th at +6, recording a round of 76.
Tanner Moore came in a tie for 20
th, with a round of 77 (+7), while
Bryce Wheeler shot a 78 (+8) to tie for 22
nd.
Andrew Gwilliams was tied for 27
th after shooting an 81 (+11) and
Cooper Bell was tied for 30
th after a round of 82 (+12).
