SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Grand Valley State men's basketball team fell 70-57 Tuesday (Dec. 19) night at Illinois Springfield. The Lakers fall to 4-6 on the season.
Ethan Alderink led the way for the Lakers scoring a career high 15 points on 7-14 shooting while hauling in four rebounds.
Britain Harris notched eight points and knocked down two three pointers and brought down three rebounds.
Trevor Smith and
William Dunn each added seven points with one made three pointer each. Smith led the Lakers with four assists, while Dunn led the team with six boards.
GVSU shot 35% from the field tonight and 26% from behind the arc. The Lakers had 33 points scoring from the bench and 24 points in the paint.
The Lakers will be off for the holiday break and will return to the court on Saturday, December 30
