DETROIT - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team fell to Wayne State Friday (April 15) by a score of 6-1 at Peachtree Tennis Club. The Lakers drop to 12-4 on the season, 4-2 in conference play. GVSU will travel to Midland, Michigan tomorrow for a conferance matchup against Northwood.
Wayne State claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.

Freddy Cossio claimed a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. On the singles side,
Sebastian Arce tallied a 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
Josep Canyadell dropped a tough 6-3, 0-6, 4-6 three set decision at No. 1 singles. Sean miller fell 3-6, 2-6 at No. 2 singles, and
Tomas Oliveira lost a 4-6, 1-6 decision at No. 4 singles.
Martin Matov dropped a 4-6, 3-6 decision at No. 5 singles, and
Freddy Cossio fell 0-6, 1-6 at No. 6 singles.
