FOREST PARK, Ill. - The Grand Valley State women's team improved to 4-0 in GLIAC play after they defeated Purdue Northwest 6-1 Friday at Forest Park Tennis Club in Forest Park, Illinois. The Lakers will host Davenport tomorrow (April 2) for senior day at Premier Athletic and Tennis Club at 5:00 PM.

Marily Canellopoulos claimed a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles.Vera and
Vasileia Griva tallied a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles, while
Taylor Barrett and
Estefania Hernandez added a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles. On the singles side,
Vasileia Griva claimed a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.
Taylor Barrett earned a hard fought 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 three set win at No. 3 singles.
Estefania Hernandez tallied a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles. Hernandez has improved to 10-2 this season in singles dual matches.
Marily Canellopoulos added a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles.
Sophia Hanover claimed a 7-6, 6-2 win at No.6 singles.Â
