GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team claimed a 6-1 win over Michigan Tech Sunday (March 27) at Grand Rapids Racquet and Fitness. The Lakers improve to 10-3 overall, 2-1 in GLIAC play.

Josep Canyadell and
Tomas Oliveira claiemd a hard fought 7-6 win at No. 1 doubles, winning the tiebreaker 7-3.
Freddy Cossio and
Sebastian Arce tallied a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles, while
Sean Miller and
Martin Matov added a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles. On the singles side,
Josep Canyadell claimed a dominant 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles.

Freddy Cossio added a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 3 singles.
Martin Matov claimed a 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles, while
Kushan Shah added a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles. The Lakers will travel to Purdue Northwest Friday (April 1) and will host Davenport Saturday (April 2).
