Game One - W, 2-0

GVSU got on the board early in the top of the first. Kyle Nott singled to left field and the very next batter, Christian Faust hit a double to right center that scored Nott. There wouldn't be any scoring until the seventh inning when the Lakers got an insurance run off a Wayne State College error.
