Grand Valley State claimed a 7-0 GLIAC victory over Davenport Sunday afternoon. The Lakers, who improve to 10-3 overall and 5-1 in GLIAC action, will host Ferris State Wednesday (April 14) at 2 p.m. at the GVSU outdoor courts.
GVSU claimed both
Marija Leko and
Taylor Barrett claimed a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, while
Vasileia Griva and
Liv Hanover added a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles. Davenport voided the No. 3 doubles position. GVSU won all four singles matches played, yielding just five games. Barrett won a 6-3, 6-1 decision at No. 1 singles, followed by a 6-0, 6-1 win by
Vasileia Griva at No. 2 singles.
Liv Hanover claimed a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and
Sophia Hanover also won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
