Box Score The #20 Grand Valley State women's tennis team claimed a 7-0 GLIAC win at Saginaw Valley State Friday after in University Center, Mich. The Lakers, now 8-2 overall and 3-0 in league action, will be at Northwood Saturday at 1 p.m.

GVSU swept doubles action to claim the point. Marily Canellopoulos and Marija Leko claimed a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles, followed by a 6-0 win by Vera Griva and Taylor Barrett at No. 2 doubles. Vasileia Griva and Liv Hanover notched a 6-4 win at the No. 3 slot. 

Grand Valley State claimed straight set wins in the first three positions. No. 1 Vera Griva (6-1, 6-2), No. 2 Marija Leko (6-1, 6-0) and No. Vasileia Griva (6-0, 6-3) dominated action, while Liv Hanover tallied a 4-6, 6-4, 10-3 win at No. 4 singles and Olivia Huang claimed a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles. Sophoia Hanover won by default at No. 6 singles.
