CALEDONIA, Mich. -- The Grand Valley State Lakers fell, 80-59, Saturday afternoon to the Davenport Panthers at the DU Student Center. The Lakers drop to 11-8 on the year and 5-6 in GLIAC play while the Panthers improve to 16-3 on the season and 8-3 in the conference.
Davenport used a pair of steals in the first two possessions of the game to lead to easy layups as they jumped out ot an early lead on the Lakers. They would hold that advantage the entire game. Three Lakers scored in double figures in the loss.
Justin Greason led the team with 17 points on 7-8 shooting while
Jake Van Tubbergen and
Hunter Hale each scored 12 points. Avery Hudson led all scorers with 22 for the Panthers.
