Grand Valley State dropped a 16-6 decision in baseball action at Southern Indiana Sunday afternoon. GVSU, 1-2 on the year, will face Drury at Lindenwood Friday (Feb. 27) at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
Southern Indiana scored six in the bottom of the first , two in each of the second and third innings and four more in the fourth. The Lakers scored two in the top of the third as RF

Alex Young opened the fifth with a double and moved to third as Browning reached on a error. Young scored on a wild pitch and C Conner Glick doubled to left to score Browning. Â C

Joel Schipper was 3-for-4, while Browning was 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Glick, Griffith and Nate each collected a hit and an RBI, while Johnson and Young added a hit and a run scored. The Lakers hit six doubles and walked six times.
