ORLANDO, Fla. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team picked up another win on its spring trip on Friday (Mar. 7), defeating Montana State-Billings 8-1 in Orlando.
The Lakers are now 8-2 overall on the season and will finish up their spring trip on Saturday (Mar. 8) against Division I Robert Morris.
GVSU swept all three doubles matches, including an 8-2 victory from Andrew Bole and Francis Bertrand at No. 1 doubles.
In singles, the Lakers took five of the six flights, as Billy Heckman led the way with a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles. Bole picked up his second victory of the day, taking a 7-5, 6-1 match at No. 4 singles.
