As a Freshman (2013-14): Earned 2nd Team All-GLIAC honors as the No. 3 singles and doubles player on the squad ... compiled a 28-10 singles record and 10-1 mark against GLIAC opponents ... went 25-12 in doubles matches and 7-3 against GLIAC opponents.

High School: Prepped at Portage Central High School...Tallied a 115-13 record over his high school career and was twice a state finalist...As a senior, he went 30-2 and advanced to the MHSAA Division 2 state singles championship match...Selected first-team all-state three times and was the fall 2012 MHSAA D2 Mr. Tennis...Ranked as high as 286th nationally and 35th in the Midwest...Ranked as the eighth-best high school senior in Michigan by tennisrecruiting.net.
