Eric Hieber captured the GLIAC Swimmer of the Year and GLIAC Freshman of the Year honors after leading the men to a first-place GLIAC Championship title with a historic 1,072.50 points.  The GVSU freshman earned individual titles in the 1650 Free (15:16.51), 500 Free (4:23.64) and 1000 Free (9:00.53).
