As a Senior (2017)
Named to the All-GLIAC Second Team…GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team honoree…GLIAC Player of the Week (Oct. 30)…One of just two Lakers to play in and start all 28 matches and appear in all 109 sets…Ranked second on the team with 262 kills and 2.40 kills per set while hitting .251…Ranked 21st in kills, 27th in kills/set, and 15th hitting percentage…Tallied 23 service aces which ranked 16th in the league…One of the Lakers top blockers, ranking second in solo blocks with 17, assisted blocks with 64, and total blocks with 81…Her solo block total ranked ninth in the league while ranking inside the top-20 in the other blocking categories…Set a new career and season-high in kills with 20 against Davenport (9/22) to go along with 16 digs…Also set a new career and season high with 23 digs against Davenport (11/11)…Tallied 13 matches of at least 10 kills and four of at least 15 kills…Picked up six total blocks twice, first against Winona State (9/9) and again against LSSU (10/20)…Tallied a season-high three solo blocks against Illinois Springfield (10/13)…Leaves GVSU with 443 career kills and 1.60 kills per set…Also picked up 39 solo blocks, 145 block assists, and 184 total blocks in her four years as well.

Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team…Ranked 25th in the GLIAC in blocks per set (0.65)…Appeared in 18 matches (making nine starts) and played in a total of 62 sets…Totaled 78 kills and finished fourth on the team with 40 total blocks…Notched five or more kills in nine contests, including season-high eight kills in four-set wins at Northwood (Sept. 17), home against Ashland (Oct. 8), and home against Northern Michigan (Oct. 28)…Added career-high tying seven total blocks in early-season win over Northwood…Supplied seven kills and six block assists in 3-0 home victory over Northwood (Nov. 11)…Posted consecutive seven-kill matches on same day against McKendree and Indianapolis (Oct. 15) at Midwest Region Crossover…Tallied at least one kill in 17 of 18 matches and one or more blocks in 13 contests.

As a Freshman (2014)
Appeared in 28 matches (making 11 starts) and played in a total of 80 sets during true freshman campaign…Ranked 14th in the GLIAC in solo blocks (15) and 23rd in total blocks (58) and blocks per set (0.73)…Totaled 94 kills, 58 total blocks (15 solo), and 28 digs on the year…Finished third on the team in solo blocks, block assists, and total blocks…Recorded at least one block in 22 of 28 matches…Tallied season-highs of nine kills and seven blocks (four solo) in 3-0 win at Tiffin (Sept. 27)…Added nine kills and four blocks in 3-0 home win over Walsh (Sept. 20)…Delivered seven kills, seven blocks, and five digs in 3-0 win over Malone (Sept. 19)…Totaled eight kills and a pair of blocks in GLIAC Championship match against Ferris State (Nov. 16)…Appeared in four of team’s five NCAA Tournament matches, including both the Elite Eight and Final Four contests (Dec. 4-5) against Wingate and Southwest Minnesota State, respectively.
High School: Prepped at Harvest Christian Academy in Elgin, Ill. under head coach Kim Floyd…Four-time team most valuable player, she totaled 1,133 kills, 696 digs, 285 service aces, and 248 total blocks during her career with the Lions…Named First Team All-Northeast Athletic Conference in 2012 and 2013, while also earning all-area honors those seasons…Helped HCA to sectional and regional championships in 2011, 2012, and 2013, advancing to the Illinois Elite Eight each of those three years…A three-time member of the Boilermaker Classic All-Tournament Team, Doby notched 414 kills (.443 hitting percentage) 356 digs, and 101 aces as a senior…Tallied 278 kills, a .396 attack clip, 214 digs, and 101 aces in junior season, when team won NAC regular season and tournament titles…Recorded 354 kills, 103 digs, 81 blocks, and 60 aces during sophomore season…Earned 11 varsity letters, while playing three years of soccer and basketball and competing in track and field for two years…Won 2013 sectional championship in the discus throw…Also participated in National Honor Society, Student Council, and Praise Band, while performing as lead singer in the school choir.
