Named to GLIAC All-Acadeic Excellence Team...Earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention...Led the team with 37 service aces and ranked third in the GLIAC in services aces per set (0.37)...Had a team-high 448 digs, while ranking fourth in the conference in digs per set (4.48)...Also tallied 54 assists...Recorded a season-high 27 digs in the five-set win over Davenport (Sep. 24)...Totaled four service aces in three different matches, vs. Nova Southeastern (Sep. 14), at Parkside (Oct. 5), and at Lake Superior State (Oct. 25)...Had 20+ digs in seven different matches

As a Junior (2018)
Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team…Was one of just four Lakers to play in all 28 matches and all 100 sets played…Led the team with 449 digs and 4.49 digs per set as the teams’ starting libero…Was second on the squad with 36 service aces and third with 58 assists…Picked up a season and career-high 26 digs against Saginaw Valley State on Oct. 5…Tallied 24 digs and a season-best five aces in a five-set victory over New Haven (Aug. 24) in the teams’ second match of the season…Had at least double digit digs in all but three matches, including eight matches with 20+ digs.

As a Sophomore (2017)
Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team…Saw action in 20 matches, making one start, and playing in 66 total sets…Tallied eight kills, eight assists, and 13 service aces…Finished sixth on the squad with 144 digs…Picked up three block assists as well…Tallied a season-high four kills against Wayne State (9/19) while picking up 12 digs and a block assist…Added another two kills against both Upper Iowa (9/1) and Northwood (10/7)…Also tallied a season-high 19 kills against Upper Iowa (9/1).

As a Freshman (2016)
Ranked 21st in the GLIAC in digs per set (3.19) and 23rd in total digs (345)…Started in all 29 matches and played in all 108 sets (one of two Lakers to do so) as a true freshman…Led GVSU in digs, finished fourth in kills (188) and aces (13), and fifth in total blocks (27)…Recorded five double-doubles (kills and digs), third-most on the team…Notched four double-doubles in first five collegiate matches, including a season-high 14 kills and 18 digs in five-set match against #20 Cal State San Bernardino (Sept. 3)…Added 19 digs and 11 kills earlier the same day against #21 Winona State…Provided 13 digs and 10 kills for first double-double in four-set match against #10 Minnesota-Duluth (Sept. 2)…Totaled 13 digs and 12 kills in five-set win over Adelphi (Sept. 9) to complete four-match streak of double-doubles…Secured 13 digs and 10 kills in four-set road win at Ohio Dominican (Sept. 30)…Tallied double-digit kills five times and five or more kills in 21 matches…Picked up 10 or more digs in 20 matches, including 11 consecutive matches from Sept. 16 to Oct. 15…Notched season-high 24 digs to go with nine kills in four-set home win over Ashland (Oct. 8)…Recorded nine digs, seven kills, and season-high four blocks in 3-0 sweep over California (PA) (Sept. 10)

High School: Prepped at Alan B. Shepard High School in Palos Heights, Ill. under head coach Dan Grunauer…Named 2014 South Suburban Conference Player of the Year…Received All-South Suburban Conference honors in 2014 and 2015, helping Shepard win conference championships in both years…Selected to Painfield North and Rich East All-Tournament Teams…Recorded 342 kills, 223 digs, 29 aces, and 26 blocks in 2015, as team went 28-9…Totaled 350 kills, 226 digs, and 49 aces when Shepard finished 30-7…Earned Max Preps Illinois Player of the Week award in 2015…Also played one year of badminton…Participated in Student Ambassadors and Mathletes.
 
Personal: Daughter of John and Deb Yerkes…Enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing sports, and watching Netflix…Majoring in pre-pharmacy.
