2015-16: Competed in the Mile and the 3000m during the indoor season … Posted a season-best time in the Mile at the GVSU Mike Lints Alumni Open (4:25.17) … Posted a season-best time in the 3000m at the GVSU Tune Up (8:44.46)

2014-15: Redshirted.

High School: Simon was a four-time All-State selection in Cross Country … He was also named All-State in the 3200m run in 2013 and 2014, also taking second in the 1600m run in 2014.
 
High School Bests: 3mile – 14:54, 3200m – 9:21.05, 1600m – 4:17.93, 5k – 16:02.
