Entering his third season as a GVSU men's basketball student assistant, Liddell has a number of duties, including practice setup and breakdown, keeping inventory of the team gear and equipment, and various day-to-day managerial tasks. He also assists with road trip itinerary and player development.
Described as a "true team player" by assistant coach JR Wallace, Liddell spoke fondly of the time he has already spent with the Laker program. "I appreciate the opportunity given to me by Coach Wesley, Coach Bauer, and Coach Wallace - to work with them and our players, to serve them in any way necessary, and to progress as a basketball coach."
