As a Freshman (2019)
Saw action in five games as a true freshman…Scored three runs primarily as a pinch runner…Scored her first collegiate run in a win over Wheeling Jesuit (3/3). 

High School: Prepped at Spring Lake High School under head coach Bill Core...Helped her team to four straight conference and district championships...Also helped Spring Lake to the regional tournament and quarterfinals in 2017 and 2018...Earned all-conference and all-region honors all four years...Was named to the all-state team as a senior in 2018 after breaking her school single season batting average record after hitting .613.

Personal: Daughter of Kolbey and Michelle Nelson...Enjoys hiking, going to the pool, and hanging out with friends and family...Plans to major in Special Education at GVSU.
