Students have the right to choose to vote either where their permanent residence is (home) or where they live during the school year. If you choose to vote in a state other than MI, you can visit vote.org to see your states guidelines and registration process. Or reach out to Jake Marg to help you locate the information.Â

If you have a MI ID, you can register to vote online at : Michigan.gov/vote
BY MAILÂ
You can print off a voter registration from at: Michigan.com/vote Fill it out, then E-mail or mail the form back to your local clerk.
IN-PERSONÂ
You can register to vote in-person at: a Secretary of State branch office, your city/ township clerks, or at a registration driveÂ

Request an absent ballot.
Anyone can vote absentee in Michigan.Â
For the August and November 2020 elections, all registered voters will be mailed an absent voter application to your mailing ad-dress. If you need to request another application , or with to submit it online, you can fill out and submit your absentee ball ot re-quest form at Michigan.gov/vote. You can also print out the form and email or mail it back to your local clerk. You can request your absent voter ballots for the November election TODAY!Â

All mailed ballots require a stamp. Mail your ballot at least one week before election day to ensure delivery on time.
In Person
You can return your absent voter ballot to your Clerk’s office or, if available, a local drop box.
