2017: Made 16 appearances and five starts in first season in Allendale…Finished the year with an 8-2 record and two saves, tossing three individual shutouts and being a part of two others…Logged 58.0 innings and compiled a 1.93 earned run average…Ranked fourth in the GLIAC in earned run average (1.93) and saves (two), fifth in shutouts (three), eighth in strikeouts per game (5.07), 13th in wins (eight) and opponents batting average (.253), 19th in total strikeouts (42), and 25th in innings pitched (58.0)…Allowed second-fewest runs by a Laker pitcher (min. 50 innings) with 22 runs given up, while finishing tied for ninth in fewest hits allowed (59)…Tied for eighth in GVSU career history with two saves…Allowed one or zero runs in 13 of her 16 appearances…Tossed a complete game four-hit shutout in her first appearance as a Laker, blanking William Jewell (Feb. 25) in a 6-0 win, totaling five strikeouts…Notched 5.2 innings of scoreless relief, allowing four hits and tallying a season-high seven strikeouts in 13-5 win over Quincy (Mar. 7)…Fired a complete game four-hit shutout with five strikeouts in a 6-0 road win at Purdue Northwest (Mar. 19)…Tallied her first save with three hitless innings of relief in a 2-0 road victory at Saint Joseph’s (Apr. 11)…Picked up the win with five innings of relief, allowing one run on three hits in a 7-2 win at Northwood (Apr. 14)…Allowed just three hits in five innings of 8-0 home win over Aquinas (Apr. 18)…Gave up one unearned run in five innings of 12-5 victory over Lake Erie (Apr. 22)…Pitched 3.2 innings and 2.1 innings, respectively, against Ferris State (Apr. 28) and #22 Saginaw Valley State (Apr. 29), allowing on run on four hits in each outing and collecting the win in both appearances, helping Lakers clinch GLIAC regular season championship at SVSU.
Prior to GVSU: Played two years at Lansing Community College under head coach Marc Kibby…Received All-Michigan Community College Athletic Association Honorable Mention plaudits…Posted tremendous 92-22 record with 940 strikeouts and 45 shutouts during time with Stars…Notched 18-strikeout game at LCC.
High School: Prepped at Portland High School under head coach Jack Anderson…Named First Team All-State Division II as a pitcher during both junior and senior seasons…Also received All-District and All-Region Team honors in all four years of her career…Finished as runner-up for Michigan Miss Softball award winner in Division II…Tallied 73-13 record in the circle with 771 strikeouts, while leading Raiders to four league championships and a 2014 district title…Went 21-4 with 275 strikeouts and a 0.69 ERA in 2014, while hitting .414 at the plate…Notched 27-4 record with 265 K’s, a 0.77 earned run average, and a .358 batting average in 2013…Tallied 25-5 record, 231 strikeouts, a 1.29 ERA, and a .313 average in 2012…Named 2014 Lansing State Journal Player of the Year, while also receiving LSJ Dream Team honors for three seasons…Also tabbed as Ionia Sentinel Player of the Year in 2014, while picking up First Team honors during last three years…Received Capital Area Activities Conference All-Academic Award in all four years at Portland…Also played four years of basketball for Raiders, three of which were on varsity team…Participated in National Honor Society, Community Service Club, Captains Club, and Homecoming Court.
