Spring 2021 Season
Abbreviated season moved to spring as a result of COVID-19 but did not count against eligibility... United Soccer Coaches Academic All-American and all-region selection... First team All-GLIAC... Appeared in and started seven games, scoring twice and dishing four assists... Had a goal and three assists in the Lakers GLIAC Quarterfinal win... Led the Lakers to a 14th straight GLIAC Tournament title.

As a Junior (2019)
Unanimous first team All-American and All-Region selection (D2CCA, United Soccer Coaches)... United Soccer Coaches Scholar Athlete of the Year... GLIAC Defensive Player of the Year and first team selection... GLIAC All-Academic Excellence team member... All-NCAA Tournament and All-GLIAC Tournament honoree... Started all 26 games as center back for one of the top defenses in the country which pitched 20 shutouts (including National Championship game), led the nation in goals-against average through the regular season, made history by not allowing a single goal in the GLIAC regular season... Led the team in minutes played (1,886)... In addition to stellar defensive play, contributed five assists on the offensive end and was key figure in attacking set pieces... Led the Lakers to a record sixth National Championship, 11th straight Midwest Region title, 15th consecutive GLIAC regular season championship and 13th GLIAC Tournament crown in a row.

As a Sophomore (2018)
Unanimous first team All-American and all-region honoree (D2CCA, United Soccer Coaches)... Led GVSU field players in minutes (2,060) and contributed two goals and five assists from her center back position... Primary defender on team that allowed 0.33 goals per game... Helped Lakers to a national runner-up finish and program-record 25 wins while capturing a 10th straight Midwest Region title, 14th consecutive GLIAC regular season championship and 12th GLIAC Tournament crown in a row.

As a Freshman (2017)
Ranked as third-best player in the state of Michigan by MLive.com... D2CCA All-America second team honors, first team all-region and second team All-GLIAC... A lockdown center back right from the start, Steinwascher played in all 24 games and made 23 starts in the key defensive slot throughout her freshman campaign... Part of a back line that pitched 17 shutouts on the season and held opponents scoreless for ten consecutive matches and nearly 1000 straight minutes... The fifth time in program history a Laker team has pitched at least ten consecutive clean sheets... In addition to her defensive prowess, she was also a top option to deliver set pieces in the attacking third... Scored four goals and dished seven assists for 15 points on the year... Scored a goal and added an assist against Ashland (9/15) and at Northern Michigan (10/22)... 

High School
Prepped at Henry Ford HS under her mother, Teresa Steinwascher...four year varsity starter...was named All-Academic, All-Conference, All-County and All-District in each of her first three seasons...was named to All-Region and All-State teams in 2015 and 2016, including an appearance on the state Dream Team in 2016 and 2017...ranked as the third best player in the state of Michigan by statechampsnetwork.com on April 25, 2017 and mLive following her senior season...named to the all-star list for the state of Michigan by topdrawersoccer.com on July 20, 2017...named to the Michigan Division 1 First Team All-State Forwards in 2017...was named to the Michigan All-State First Team by MIHSSCA in 2017...helped team reach the state semifinals during her senior year.

Personal
Daughter to Henry and Teresa Steinwascher...also competes as a track athlete and powerlifter...has two younger brothers...intends to major in physical therapy at GVSU.
