As a Sophomore (2021)
Made eight appearances and four starts, going 2-1 with a 3.07 ERA... Threw a complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits, to get a road win at Saginaw Valley (April 24)... Helped the Lakers to a fourth straight GLIAC regular season title, third GLIAC Tournament championship in a row and second consecutive College World Series appearance.

As a Sophomore (2020) *Season canceled early due to COVID-19*
Did not play because of overlapping commitment to women's basketball prior to cancelation of season due to COVID-19.

As a Freshman (2019)
Finished freshman campaign with a 10-2 record and 78.1 innings pitched…Held a 3.49 ERA in her 16 games (14 starts) with 60 strikeouts and 34 walks…Tossed seven complete games and help opposing lineups to a .254 average…Tossed a five inning five-hitter in her first collegiate start against Wayne State (3/23), allowing one earned run while striking out three…Recorded her first complete game against Davenport (4/9) where she allowed two earned runs in a 6-5 win...Threw another five inning five-hitter in her final start of the season against Ferris State (5/3), striking out five and walking two while allowing a single unearned run in a 10-1 victory. 

High School: Prepped at Caledonia High School in Caledonia, Mich. under head coach Tom Kaechele…Four-year varsity player…Named All-Conference, All-District, All-Region, and All-State First Team each of her first three seasons on the diamond…Also a three-time Academic All-State honoree…Hit .540, .411, and .368 each of her first three seasons respectively…Also pitched for the Fighting Scots, posting ERA’s of 1.3, 1.5, and 1.5 as a freshman, sophomore, and junior…Helped Caledonia to the state tournament championship game as a freshman before earning conference and district championships the following two years. 
 
Personal: Daughter of Dave and Karen Gehrls…member of Student Council and Positive School Climate in high school…Also a member of the GVSU Women's Basketball team.
