Women's Golf In Fourth Following Sunday's Second Round

ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State women's golf team completed day two at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite, playing another 18 holes. Following Sunday's round, the Lakers are in fourth place.

Findlay holds a commanding 35-stroke leader after 36 holes, ending today with a score of +4. In second is McKendree, followed by Ashland at +41. GVSU sits in fourth with a score of +43, two shots up on Wayne State in fifth.
 
Lea Stotz is the top GVSU golfer, ending today tied for eighth. She carded a 77 (+5) with three birdies today, having a final score of +8. One shot back of her in a tie for 10th is Elle Furrow, following her round of 74 (+2), making one birdie. Charlotte Goersch is tied for 21st at +12, as she made two birdies in her second round of 77. Tied for 29th is Heida Rafnsdottir, as she carded a 78 (+6) with one birdie today. Shooting an 81 (+9) was Scarlett Phillips, as she ended today tied for 46th.
 
On the individual side, Skyler Tierney and Evelyn Park are tied for 15th. They both have a score of +11, with Tierney shooting a 77 and Park a 79, both with two birdies. June Hsiao made one birdie in her round of 85 (+13).
 
The final round will tee off tomorrow at 9:00.
