EAST LANSING, MICH. – The Grand Valley State women's golf team started play in their second tournament of the fall seasons, playing at the Mary Fossum Invitational. After weather forced the opening day to only be 18 holes, the Lakers are tied for 13
th.

The top five is made up of Delaware, host Michigan State, Central Michigan, Rutgers, and Youngstown State. GVSU is in 13
th with a score of +37.
Lea Stotz is the top GVSU golfer, ending the day tied for 37
th. She shot a 79 (+7), making three birdies in the round.

Heida Rafnsdottir,
Scarlett Phillips, and
Skyler Tierney are all tied for 54
th at +10. Furrow and Rafnsdottir both made two birdies, while Phillips sank one.
