ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State men's golf team teed off in their lone home tournament of the fall, playing in the Midwest/Central Regional Preview. After the opening 36 holes of action, GVSU sits in second place, three shots back of the lead.
Results
Wayne State holds the top spot on the scoreboard, finishing the day at seven over par. The Lakers carded a +10 today to sit in second place with one round to play. Central Oklahoma is one shot back of them in third, while SVSU is in fourth at twelve over. Ashland holds down the fifth spot with a score of +15.
Emil Olofsson shot two rounds of even par 71, making five total birdies to finish the day tied for sixth.
Maverick Conaway is one shot back of him in a tie for eighth after carding rounds of 70 (-1) and 73 (+2). He made six birdies today. After his rounds of 74 (+3) and 70,
Ryan Gallagher is tied for 13
th at two over. He made two birdies in his opening round, then sand three more plus an eagle in his second.
Nicolas Vincent made five birdies across his rounds of 77 (+6) and 74, ending at +9 in a tie for 52
nd.
Finley Dober is tied for 74
th at +12 after shooting a 75 (+4) and a 79 (+8) with three birdies.

Louie Bloxham shot a 72 (+1) and a 74 (+3) with three birdies in each round to finish tied for 24
