The #6 ranked Grand Valley State football team opened week three of practice with a two hour practice in Lubbers Stadium Monday morning. Practice 13 for the Lakers consisted of a considerable amount of situational football, team period and one-on-one reps of 1's vs. 1's. In addition, two periods of special teams action were installed.Â
GVSU went through a game-like practice Saturday night in Lubbers Stadium for nearly two hours. Head coach
Scott Wooster was pleased with over 100 reps of offense vs. defense, including 40 plays of which were live football.Â
The third and final GVSU Football Radio Roadshow will take place Wednesday, August 19 at Snug Harbor in Grand Haven. The show can be attended in person, seen live on YouTube or heard live on the radio dial at WLAV 97 beginning at 6 p.m.
