Grand Valley State dropped a 15-10 decision to Indianapolis Friday afternoon in NCAA Super Regional action. The Lakers end the season with a 48-10 record.
The Lakers led 4-1 heading to the bottom of the fourth, but Indianapolis scored 10 runs on four hits, six walks and two hit batters to take an 11-4 lead. GVSU scored one in the fifth, two in the sixth and seventh and one in the top of the ninth. GVSU outhit the Greyhounds 15-10, but Indianapolis drew 13 walks and were hit by a pitch twice.Â
