th at 7:30 PM at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The Lakers will honor their four seniors before tipoff.

GVSU defeated Davenport 59-54 on the road Tuesday night to improve to 21-6 on the season and 14-5 in the GLIAC.
Antaune Allen and
Ethan Alderink each scored 18 points to lead the Lakers over the Panthers.
Shamus Thompson was everywhere defensively for GVSU grabbing nine rebounds, blocking four shots, and swiping three steals.
In the first matchup this season against Ferris State, the Lakers defeated the Bulldogs 84-80 in overtime in Big Rapids. GVSU trailed by as many as 19 points in the second half, marking the largest come from behind win under head coach
Cornell Mann.
Jalen Charity scored a career high 27 points, while
Trevor Smith Jr. put up at the time a career high 19 points.
Mason Docks added 15 points, four assists, and three steals in the win.
Ferris State is 10-15 on the season and are tied in eighth place in the GLIAC standings with a 7-11 mark. The Bulldogs will travel to Davenport on Saturday and are tied for the final playoff spot in the conference tournament. Ferris State enters Allendale on a three-game losing streak and have lost seven of their last eight games. The Bulldogs fell at home to Michigan Tech 79-68 on Monday night. Tae Boyd leads Ferris State in scoring averaging 13.7 points on 49% shooting from the field while Mykel Bingham is scoring 13 points on 52% shooting from the field.
