Davenport claimed a 6-5 victory over Grand Valley State Saturday, scoring two runs in the bottom of the tenth. The Lakers will face the winner of the Saginaw Valley State – Wayne State game at 7 p.m. The winning run was a controversial hit batter that was originally just a wild pitch, but after grouping together it was determined by the field umps it was a hit batter over the plate ump. 

Davenport scored three runs in the fourth and tied it bottom of the ninth with a run.  

RF Ryan Stimac singled to left with one out in the fifth inning and 3B Caleb Estrada doubled to left center to score Stimac. LF Ryan Dykstra battled in a 10-pitch at bat and singled home Estrada with two outs. 
 
Stimac singles for the third time today to open the seventh and SS Evan Morrison triples to right center to tie the game 3-3. Dykstra reached on a fielder's choice and 1B Jovan Gill singled to left. 1B Jonas Gulbrandsen singled to center to score Dykstra and give the Lakers a 4-3 lead.

Davenport put runners on first and second with one out in the bottom of the seventh, but senior LHP Will Goebel induced a fly out and strikeout to end the threat and the inning. 

1B Jovan Gill singled to open the 10^th, went to second on a sac bunt by 2B Zach Warren and third on a wild pitch. Guciardo came through once again with a 9-pitch at bat that resulted in a sac fly that scored Gill. 

Stimac and Gill each collected three hits for the Lakers.
