Indoor Track & Field Receives 36 All-America Honors

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Grand Valley State's track and field squads received 36 All-America honors for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season as announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). 
 
Athletes received First-Team All-America honors by finishing in the top-8 of their respective individual events and relays at the 2025 NCAA DII Championships this past weekend hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana. Those who placed ninth through 12th in an individual event or ninth or 10th on a relay team were awarded Second-Team All-America honors.
 
Twenty-five athletes, 14 men and 11 women, were named First-Team All-Americans. Athletes that received multiple First-Team honors include Myles Kerner (shot put, weight throw), Scott Spaanstra (800m, distance medley relay), Maria Mitchell (mile, distance medley relay), Addison Washler (4x400 relay, distance medley relay), Natalie Graber (3000m, distance medley relay), Catherine Guckenberger (4x400 relay, distance medley relay) and Lauren Kiley (3000m, 5000m).
 
Four Second-Team All-America honors were awarded to Grand Valley State athletes. Koby Fraaza earned the honor in the men's 3000m (9th place), Lilly Alberts received the honor for her 12th place finish in the 800m, Allie Arnsman was named to the list for the 5000m (12th place) and Alaina Diaz earned the honor for her 10thplace performance in long jump.
