ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State women's volleyball team concluded their trip to the Upper Peninsula with a five-set loss to Michigan Tech. The Lakers are now 13-7 overall and 7-3 in GLIAC play.
After the Lakers took the opening set 25-19, the Huskies took the next two, winning 25-17 and 25-20. GVSU answered back to win set four 25-15, but fell in the fifth set 15-9.
Meghan O'Sullivan,
Kennedy Arp, and
Kendall Stover all tallied 11 kills, with
Brianna Stawski having 10. O'Sullivan added 24 assists and 11 digs for her second straight triple-double.
Olivia Behen had 23 digs and Stover totaled 20, while
Caroline Baker recorded 26 assists.
