KENOSHA, Wis. – The No. 2 Grand Valley State women's soccer team fell 1-0 at Parkside Friday (Oct. 17) afternoon. The Lakers fall to 9-2 on the season and 6-1 in the GLIAC.
Parkside scored the lone goal with two seconds remaining in the game. GVSU outshot Parkside 15-8 and 6-3 on goal. The Lakers produced four corner kicks and held the Rangers to one.
Kendall Aikens led GVSU with four shots with one target.
Sarah Fromm recorded three shots with two on target, while
Alli French added two shots on frame.
Acadia Murphy,
Kacy Lauer, and
Mackenzie Ford played all 90 minutes of action.
GVSU will close out the road trip on Sunday against Roosevelt. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM ET, 12:00 PM CT in Schaumburg, Illinois. The game will be streamed live on FloCollege.
